Shine a light on Philadelphia!

~ Here starts a story of an intern, who changed a common way of life to a new mode. London in exchange for Philla. ~
I am doing my internship in Hospitality field for a year at one of Hiltons hotels and planning to get to know Philly better by visiting all the amusing places it has to offer. Whats a Philly - the whole America! I want to familiarize myself with many others citys of U.S. and thats what I hope to do in these 12 months. Unleash Travel.
Why I chose Philadelphia instead of cool NY or sunny Miami? - you would ask. Well, when time came to make a decision my mind went to the Benjamin Franklin, one of the american geniuses, who said so many remarkable phrases about money, and plus was a citizen of Philadelphia, that I got a feeling that Philla is right place to be.
'waste neither time nor money, but make the best use of both' Franklin said.. (btw saw his white giant statue at the Science Museum)
So I thought - this can be a great place to practise my adulthood - learn how to make money, how wisely spendt it, and how to make most of my time. Besides, this city has a great history, fabulous views, Victorian architecture of the nineteenth century, there's always something is happening, its affordable, and its alluring.
And not to mention - that on July the 4th, 1776, the Second Continental Congress gathered in this city to adopt the Declaration of Independence, in which was proclaimed of the establishment of a new sovereign country - the United States of America. (at same time they approved the Stars & Stripes Flag of America - it was only 13 stars and stripes on it then). Moreover, I see this year as my own state of independence which I was willing for for so long. Well, I guess - always be careful what you wish for, as my mum has told me.
Will see how everythings gonna turn out.
Hugs,
Yana
